Who is responsible
VDKWebsites, the independent studio of Petar Vidakovic, established in the Netherlands, is the controller for personal data processed through this website. For anything in this statement, email PetarVDK@gmail.com.
What is collected, and why
The proposal form asks for your name, email address, the brand, artist or company you represent, an optional link, and your answers about the project. This is processed to respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you email or WhatsApp directly, the studio processes what you choose to send, on the same basis. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising, and no profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. One functional mechanism is used: an in-progress proposal is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device so a refresh doesn’t erase your answers. It is cleared when you submit and you can remove it any time via your browser settings.
Who processes data on the studio's behalf
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which processes IP addresses and request data to serve and protect the site, based on the studio’s legitimate interest in running it securely. Form submissions are delivered to the studio inbox by Resend Inc. (USA). Where these providers process data outside the EEA, the transfer is covered by the safeguards in their data-processing terms, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Third-party content your browser loads
The interactive 3D scenes load from Spline’s content delivery network, which in turn loads one font file from Google Fonts; case study pages embed live previews of the websites shown, served from those sites’ own domains. When your browser fetches these, the provider concerned sees your IP address, as with any web request. Contacting the studio through WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp’s (Meta) own terms and privacy policy.
Retention
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to discuss and, where it comes to that, deliver the work, and are deleted on request. The local form draft lives only on your device until you submit. Hosting logs are retained briefly by Vercel under its own policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, object to processing, and receive the data you provided in a portable format. Email PetarVDK@gmail.com and you’ll get a response within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
